Another consequence of 11 September is paranoia about airports security. Passengers take off their shoes and watches but there is always something that can cause a squeak of detectors. You can imagine how much all this security measures coast. Airport fees often exceed the cost of the ticket.

September 11 has poisoned the world atmosphere and we have become careful with all Muslims not just the Islamics, whom we actually have reason not to trust. Everyone is changed his mind of thinking. Even the people who had no problem with immigrants and immigration are not so happy with Muslim neighborhood. Islamic symbolism looks like a provocation now.
