History Repeats Itself - Haiti and Obama's Change

- Venezuelan airplane left for the Caribbean country with 14 tons of food, medicines and drinking water. Two Venezuelan cargo ships are expected to depart from Venezuela with 5,776 tons of food. The ministry said 138 personnel, five vehicles and five aircraft are currently taking part in the rescue effort. Russian aircraft made a total of 21 flights to ferry aid in from third countries.

US has sent 10000 troops to Haiti...

- President Obama thanked predecessors George W. Bush and Bill Clinton today for heading up a new Haiti fundraising project, and asked them to tap America's compassion to help the impoverished nation devastated by a deadly earthquake.

- Bush Clinton Katrina Fund (BCKF) grantees are working throughout the Gulf Coast improving the lives of those harmed by Hurricane Katrina.

So the history repeats itself, as you can see. We all remember what Bush and Clinton have done after hurricane Katrina... Did they actually help anyone? It was tough times for all America because it was the time when people actually figured out that they are on their own. Government did a really bad job in 2005.

- "In times of great challenge in our country and around the world, Americans have always come together to lend a hand and to serve others and to do what's right" Obama said

- The United States occupation of Haiti began on July 28, 1915 and ended in mid-August, 1934.

Would the history repeat itself again? Why Obama sends 10 000 troops to Haiti?

- The 7000 UN peacekeeping troops in Haiti are helping with rescue operations and maintaining law and order in the wake of the devastating...

Haiti asked US for help, and it looks like there is nothing US can do except sending their troops. At the same time thousands of Americans are sending their donations to Haiti. People are trying to help but the government is just trying to take advantage of this situation.

- On January 19 this year, Spanish news agency EFE announced a message with a link to a report prepared by specialists of the Northern Fleet of Russia. The report of the Northern Fleet argues that the earthquake transformed Haiti into ruins, was the result of testing one type of "weapons", conducted by the Navy United States.

This instrument, provided by the University of Tokyo, measures temporal variations in the geomagnetic field in the ULF (ultra-low frequency) range of 0-5 Hz.









It looks like Obama didn't lie about the Change. Bush was attacking other countries with troops and weapons; Obama does that in a smart way. But the story is the same. Bush said: "Saddam is making the weapon of mass destruction" and sent the troops to Iraq. Obama said: "In times of great challenge in our country and around the world, Americans have always come together to lend a hand and to serve others and to do what's right...” Sounds much better... Nobody believes in democracy since President Bush. So it looks like they found a new way to send American troops somewhere. Obama changed the way but didn't change the foreign policy.
